Ashira Datya grew up on a lake near Ann Arbor in pretty S.E. Michigan. She met her husband through a mutual friend, who both lived across the lake from her. Ashira and her husband live with their three children and pets about an hour south of Traverse City in gorgeous Central Northern Michigan where they enjoy the stunning beaches of Lake Michigan all summer long. She holds a Bachelor of Art degree in Social Studies and History and hopes to someday get a master's degree in history so that she can teach at a university. When Ashira is not writing, she can be found playing board games with her family, reading from her collection of books, hard copy and e-books alike, she isn't picky.
